Breast cancer diagnosis & treatment differences for Latinas

This new study reports that foreign-born Hispanics have lower rates of stage I tumors at diagnosis (35.4%) compared to U.S.-born Hispanics (40.6%) and whites (47.4%). This indicates that fewer Latinas are diagnosed when breast cancer is at its most treatable. Primary treatment also varies for immigrant Latinas.Read original story
